Dr. Mariya Merchant is a General Dentist with a keen focus on Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry. She moved from Mumbai to Dubai in 2018 after graduating from PIMS, a top dental college in India. She has over 6 years of experience in clinical dental practice. With a commitment to continued dental education to keep herself in line with the latest methods and technologies in dentistry, she acquired her Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Mariya is proficient at ceramic and porcelain fixed indirect restorations including crowns, bridges, and veneers. Currently, she has developed her practice by providing Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) sedation, and works with Invisalign and the Myobrace system. She provides dental fillings, endodontic therapy, extractions, and has an impeccable record of patient satisfaction.
She believes in tooth conservation whenever possible and practices bio-mimetic dentistry which involves saving the maximum amount of the original tooth structure. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati but enjoys conversing in limited Arabic. Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Mariya is passionate about reading and traveling, always eager to explore new places and expand her horizons.
